Abstract

OBJECTIVE: describe higher education in virtual mode from a strategic view of complex education for the construct of knowledge. METHOD: theoretical construction based on reflections and bibliographic review. RESULTS: virtual education has made significant contributions from the context of complexity with an epistemic and pedagogical basis, opening up the use of information and communication technologies, these being the foundation for the processes methods in virtuality and the formation of curricular designs for the digital community with the primary purpose of enhancing knowledge and promoting research in education. CONCLUSION: virtual education from the epistemological context integrates radical changes in skills from comprehensive models, providing solutions to real problems of the attitudinal and social construct for socioformation through complexity and research from the beginning of history to the present.

Jorge Eduardo Bran Girón, Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala

He is a doctor and surgeon graduated from the University of San Carlos de Guatemala, Master of Science in Geriatrics and Gerontology dedicated to the diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases, teacher in university teaching with an emphasis on Andragogy, currently coordinator of the Master's in Neuroscience with an emphasis on Neurocognition at the University Center from Zacapa.

Sonia Judtih Villatoro Jacóme, Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala

She has a degree in Psychology from the University of San Carlos de Guatemala, a Master's Degree in Human Resources from the Faculty of Economic Sciences, currently the undergraduate academic coordinator and postgraduate director of the Zacapa University Center.

Alba Estela García Gómez, Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala

She has a degree in Human Resources Administration, Master of Business Administration, graduated from FUI Miami Florida, Master's Degree in Human Resources from the University of San Carlos de Guatemala, currently works in various companies as a business advisor in the Human Resources area, in which Regarding the academic area, she has a 10-year career as a university professor at various universities in Guatemala, virtual tutor at the Latin American level and Master's Coordinator in the Economics area at the Zacapa CUNZAC University Center.

Maria José Tojo Ortiz , Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala

She has a degree in Clinical Psychology and Social Counseling, Universidad Panamericana de Guatemala, Master's Degree in Clinical Neuropsychology, Universidad del Valle de Guatemala, with development and work in the clinical areas (hospital/educational neuropsychology), teaching (training, tutoring, undergraduate/ university postgraduate, health, education and business personnel), and research (national and international scientific studies and publications), the above applied in the public and private sector. Master's Degree, Master's Degree in Child Psychotherapy, Universidad Panamericana, Master's Degree, Master's Degree in Neurosciences with Emphasis in Neurocognition from the University Center of Zacapa -CUNZAC- and other specializations.
