Abstract

Breastfeeding allows the infant to receive the vitamins, minerals and necessary sources of energy and vitality from the mother, this is their first food and the one necessary for their optimal development. In the whole process of breastfeeding, both before, during and after it, the physiology of the human body is enhanced and neuroscience also influences its course. Given this, it is justified that the study of breastfeeding and its relationship with neuroscience is essential to identify the hormones influencing the development of breast milk and deduce its neurological process. The methodology applied for it responds to descriptive research through bibliographic consultations and interviews with experts on the subject. Within the structure of the human body, especially that of women, upon learning that she is in a state of pregnancy, the hormones prolactin and oxytocin are stimulated, which play an important role in the development and production of the breastmilk.
