Abstract

PROBLEM: to develop a graphic design project it is necessary to know concepts for the effectiveness of the project. OBJECTIVE: identify concepts of communication, design, auxiliary sciences and trends to support the design of digital graphic pieces. METHOD: literature review, with the descriptive hermeneutic approach. RESULTS: communication is important because it transmits the message of the products offered by real and potential customers. Design is an element to transmit ideas and concepts to clients, which is why harmony is created within the pieces created. The sciences help to support the bases on the topic of the project, as well as color psychology, mathematics, semiology and statistics, which are a fundamental pillar that supports the project. Art is a source of inspiration which helps create unique compositions intended for the development of the project, such as photography and drawing for the conceptualization of the project. Color theory is fundamental because it helps to understand the way in which people perceive colors and the emotions added to them, as well as the theory of the visual journey as creating a guide in the design from the initial point where the information is to be focused. Trends are forms of inspiration which help create new compositions with a diversity of fonts, colors and patterns which help improve the final compositions or arts. CONCLUSION: fundamentally these elements are related and applied in the design of effective and attractive digital graphic pieces.
