PROBLEM: it is necessary to know the benefits and needs in the use of post-processing software for neuroimaging in epilepsy disease. OBJECTIVE: obtain from the knowledge database: (1) whether the evaluated population knows of the existence of the disease, (2) use of technologies related to neuroimaging, (3) experience with post-processing software in neuroimaging, (4) knowledge of devices and APPS for patients with epilepsy, (5) human generations involved in the study. METHOD: descriptive, obtaining quantity and quality of the sample. RESULTS: in the sample of more than ninety people and through two electronic forms that captured the information with twelve questions each, it is observed that 35% of them are part of the Millennial Human Generation, with the male sex predominating by 52%, 91% to 98% have heard of epilepsy, they are unaware of specialized APPs/devices/software for neuroimaging in the treatment of epilepsy. CONCLUSION: most of the people and specialists evaluated are young males, 58% of the sample. It is worth mentioning that 98% are unaware of post-processing software for neuroimaging, 91% are aware of the disease and 83% have experienced or are aware of neuroimaging support alternatives.
